About Your Coach:

Hi! I'm Amanda.  Like many young adults, I did not have great cooking skills and relied on restaurants and processed foods. After a few months of being on my own, I had gained a lot of weight, but what bothered me most was I felt like crap. My energy levels had dropped, I felt sluggish, I wasn't enjoying life the same way. I noticed that I felt particularly bad in the morning after grabbing a 'muffin' from the coffee shop on campus. After looking at the ingredients, I realized it had enough sugar to be called cake. I started looking for muffin recipes that were easy, delicious and healthy. After some trial and error, making my own breakfast muffins had become a part of my routine and I had several recipes I loved.  This started a life-long quest to learn new ways to feed myself and stay healthy without spending hours in the kitchen. I wasn't passionate about cooking, I was passionate about feeling good so I could enjoy my life.

As I moved through my life, I found ways to adapt and added new cooking tools to my toolbelt so I could keep up with stress-free healthy eating.  This adaptability allowed me to stick with my goals even as my lifestyle drastically changed - when I started new careers, got married, and welcomed two kids to our family.  I realized that life always changes, and there is no such thing as one perfect routine that will work for the rest of your life.  You need to approach healthy eating with a mindset of flexibility and problem solving to find what works best for YOU, in your specific lifestyle.

I became passionate about helping others find their own perfect solutions and teaching kitchen skills.  During Covid lock-downs, I started my nutrition training and haven't stopped since - I'm always learning! The science of how to fuel yourself to feel great is fascinating and I love sharing it with others!

Mastering self-care through eating properly has become a skill that is now extended to other healthy activities like exercise and sleep. The trickle-down effect of the confidence I gained in the kitchen has been massive and impacted all areas of my health. I am now so excited to have the opportunity to guide others as they create healthy habits that work for them and they can sustain for life.

Unlike other programs, I don't believe in giving you a 'one size fits all' program. My passion is to teach you how to create your own, one of a kind healthy lifestyle - because that's the only way it will work for you for life. You'll also gain the skills needed to adapt and adjust as your life changes, so you'll never revert back to old, less healthy habits.  I can't wait to start working with you in the Food for Life coaching program!

Investment:

Pay up front - $939

  • Only $59 a week for the 16-week program - you will easily pay for your investment with the money you save by eating out less and reducing food waste.
